Avalanche

I constructed this solo in the summer of 2016 under the guidance of famed choreographer Doug Varone. As one of twelve of his DOVA Devices choreographers, I crafted this work utilizing his process of creativity. The result was an expression of bound gesture mixed with free flow spiral moving throughout the space.

Avalanche premiered at Gibney Dance Center, NYC, as a part of DOVA Devices and was then invited to perform at The Bryant Lake Bowl's 9x22 in Minneapolis, MN. It was then a part of the Purdue University Faculty Dance concert in 2016.
